Summer holiday ideas
Whatever’s on your summer wish-list, we’ve got a place for you to stay. Explore clifftop cottages, quiet, countryside farmhouses, beachside retreats and more. For the school holidays, you'll find cottages surrounded by nature for walks and wildlife spotting, or near National Trust places with programmes of events for families.

Stay by a National Trust attraction
Browse cottages at places in our care, where you'll have free entry during your stay. Enjoy trails, parkland and gardens, as well as programmes of events, and perhaps a National Trust café and shop. Image: Abbey Cottage, Yorkshire

What's more, dogs go free at all 300 of our dog-friendly cottages, and at 20 campsites. The money you spend on your holiday helps support our work as Europe’s biggest conservation charity, looking after nature, beauty and history for everyone to enjoy. Image: Eskeleth, Northumberland
