Dyffryn Mymbyr Farm House is a restored Victorian farmhouse in an outstanding location in central Eryri (Snowdonia). The cottage benefits from stunning mountain views and was the setting for the iconic novel, I bought a Mountain.
Rise early and explore the area on foot. At just under two miles away, Capel Curig is home to the 6th century church of St Curig, as well as The National Mountain Centre. Here you can book onto courses for rock climbing, mountain biking, winter mountaineering and more. The Traws Eryi trail, a 200km off-road adventure cycling route for experienced riders, runs around the village and links up some of the best riding in Eryri.
Further afield, the beautiful mountain town of Betws Y Coed is just seven miles from the cottage. Explore this bustling resort with its pubs, restaurants and famous riverside and woodland walks.

Sitting room with wood burning stove and large picture window overlooking the spectacular view of Moel Siabod, dining room with original oak pannelling, study, large kitchen/dining room complete with granite worktops, a farmhouse table, rangemaster cooker and the original serving hatch through to the dining room. A large outside utility room with spacious drying facilities, perfect for outdoor pursuits equipment and separate lavatory.

Four bedrooms (large master bedroom featuring views over the mountain range, double bedroom with large picture windows, 2 twin bedrooms both with spectacular views), two spacious bathrooms with separate shower cubicles.

Electric vehicle charging: There are two electric vehicle charging points.
Heating: Wood pellet boiler central heating.
Parking: Parking opposite the farmhouse is available for four cars. There is an electric vehicle charging point on the side of the outbuilding adjacent to the farmhouse.
Garden: There is only a patio area to the front of the cottage complete with garden furniture to take in the stunning scenery.
Cycling: Eyri National Park is a great place to cycle. For experienced riders, the Traws Eryi trail is a 200km off-road adventure route that links up some of the best riding in Snowdonia.
Offers: Guests will benefit from a late Sunday checkout of 4pm at this cottage.
Utilities/Electricals: The washing machine and tumble dryer is a combined washer/dryer.
