Characterful stone-built cottage on the Hafod Y Llan estate, great for exploring Eryri (Snowdonia).
Hen Dy is the old stone farmhouse on the Hafod y Llan estate, where it is said that Llywelyn the Great resided when he wrote to King John to form their alliance. The cottage is cosy and comfortable and a great retreat after a day spent exploring Eryri (Snowdonia).
After a hearty breakfast, head five minutes from the cottage and join up with the Watkin path, one of the walks up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and a haven for birdwatchers.
Further afield, Beddgelert is just three miles away while the beautiful town of Betws Y Coed, with its fantastic shops, pubs and cafes, is 14 miles away from the cottage.

Hallway leading to the lounge and dining room, kitchen; bathroom with shower over the bath to the rear of the property. Annex with double bedroom, shower room and utility room. Access to the annex double bedroom is via an external stone staircase next to the utility door.

Parking: 2 spaces in front of the cottage.
Garden: There is a small graveled garden in front of the cottage with garden furniture.
Offers: Guests will benefit from a late Sunday checkout of 4pm at this cottage.
Telephone: There is little or no mobile reception at the cottage and no landline, however there is a payphone at the end of the lane.
Please note: There is a campsite in the field adjacent to the rear of the cottage, open from Easter until end of October and there is a working farm next door.
